GFB Mach 2 atmospheric conversion kit for T9107/T9125

Kit to convert the Mach 2 valve from recirculating to atmospheric venting.

The kit includes a vent trumpet, a firmer spring and a plug for a 25 mm diameter hose.

For atmospheric venting of the Mach 2 valve, the piston must remain closed at idle and the recirculation hose must be plugged. The 5925 atmospheric conversion kit includes a plug for a 25 mm diameter hose to seal the recirculation hose, a vent trumpet to replace the hose connection on the Mach 2 valve, and a firmer spring (part no. 6115). The trumpet is not essential for operation, but it provides a louder sound.

The Mach 2 valve is supplied with a softer spring (part no. 6116), which is suitable for recirculating operation or vehicles with an idle vacuum of 18 inHg or less. If the piston remains closed at idle with the existing spring, the spring does not need to be replaced. However, if the piston remains partially open even with the spring preload set to maximum, the firmer spring from this kit must be fitted to prevent engine stalling or backfiring.
