GFB Mach 2 T9103/T9133 atmosphere conversion kit (33 mm plug)

Conversion kit for converting the Mach 2 valve from recirculating operation to venting to the atmosphere.

The kit includes a sound trumpet, a stiffer spring and a plug for a 33 mm hose.

For venting the Mach 2 valve to the atmosphere, the piston must remain closed at idle and the recirculation hose must be plugged. Kit 5933 includes a plug for a 33 mm hose to seal the recirculation hose, a sound trumpet to replace the hose outlet on the Mach 2 valve, and a stiffer spring (product no. 6115). The sound trumpet is not essential for operation, but it enhances the venting sound.

The Mach 2 valve is supplied with a softer spring (product no. 6116), which is suitable for recirculating operation or vehicles with an idle vacuum of 18 inHg or less. If the piston remains closed at idle with the existing spring, replacing the spring is not necessary. If the piston remains partially open at idle despite the maximum spring preload adjustment, install the stiffer spring from this kit to prevent the engine from stalling or popping in the exhaust system.
