The GFB 5702 is a replacement trumpet for a blow-off valve, designed to create a distinctive whistling sound. It is designed for use in low-boost applications where the 5701 model does not work optimally.
Model 5702 is a modified version of the 5701 whistling trumpet, which was introduced in 2004. Compared with the 5701, the 5702 will produce a whistling sound more easily and at a slightly higher frequency, as the 5701 typically requires higher boost pressure and more revs to whistle.
You can use the 5702 trumpet instead of the standard trumpet on all GFB valves. For the correct effect, the valve must be set so that all or most of the air is vented through the trumpet. Respons valves usually do not create sufficient air velocity for whistling when set to 50/50 venting.
The product is recommended for Respons and Deceptor Pro II valves, except for models T9003 and T9503.
