The HEL Performance braided brake hose kit is manufactured and assembled in-house in the United Kingdom. The hoses are machine-crimped onto high-quality brake hose with stainless steel braid and made to the same lengths, with the same fittings, as the original rubber brake hoses.
The kit includes all components for direct installation:
- 4 braided brake hoses,
- banjo bolts where required,
- copper washers,
- clips where required.
Compared with rubber hoses, which expand under pressure, braided hoses reduce the soft or spongy feel at the brake pedal and provide a firmer, more consistent feel when braking. The inner core is made from PTFE, while the outer stainless steel braid is protected by a PVC coating available in 13 colours.
Suitable for: BMW 5 IV (E39).
