The intake kit replaces the complete factory intake system, including the standard air filter and plastic intake pipe. The HFI intake system offered here is made from carbon fibre and features a special performance air filter developed specifically for this system.
As an alternative to the standard filter, a Pipercross upgrade filter can also be selected. The aluminium pipe provides the connection to the engine and additionally enhances the engine’s intake sound. The included cold-air hose ensures the maximum possible supply of fresh air to the carbon airbox.

Road use: A parts certificate (Teilegutachten) is included to support registration of the modification in the vehicle documents under the §19.3 procedure.
