VAG 2.0 TSI boost pipe (Throttlepipe) for EA888 Gen.4 DNF engines producing 300/320/333 PS

This aluminium boost pipe from the intercooler to the throttle body is designed for all listed 2.0 TSI Euro 6 engines on the MQB evo platform and replaces the original hard-plastic part.

The larger pipe diameter, with an internal diameter of 57 mm compared with just 53.7 mm for the OEM part, combined with the flow-optimised shape and removal of the reinforcing struts*, provides increased airflow of 287.9 cfm, measured on a flow bench. The CAD-designed diverter valve flange is engineered for considerably higher preload of the sealing piston, reliably preventing boost leaks.

Another advantage is that the standard part consists of a bonded plastic pipe. Under the effects of time, temperature and pressure, the material becomes brittle and cracks. This can result in broken connectors or burst boost pipes. This is not only inconvenient due to the failure, but also poses a major risk to the turbocharger and engine.

Thanks to these properties, the product is also ideally suited to vehicles with increased power. The boost pipe is compatible with the original intercooler hoses, our SF-Hoses silicone hoses and GFB valves.
