Fitting this downpipe allows the turbocharger to discharge the exhaust gases more easily, resulting in increased performance. Exhaust gas temperatures are also reduced, relieving the load on the exhaust manifold and turbocharger. The vehicle gains torque because the turbocharger reaches operating speed more quickly and is less restricted by the exhaust flow.
