This adapter plate is an essential part of converting 1.8T turbo engines to our high-performance ignition coils. It ensures the new ignition coils are mechanically positioned correctly and securely mounted in the cylinder head. When changing to modern ignition coils, the shape and mounting points differ from the original equipment solution – this is where the adapter plate is used.
