HG Motorsport Open E-INTAKE air intake system for EA888 Gen.4, 3xx PS DNF (Golf 8, S3 8Y)

Open air intake system “Open E-INTAKE EA888 Gen. 4” with approval documentation offers maximum performance and an aggressive sound. The system can be combined with other type-approved components, such as exhaust systems and downpipes, as stated in the approval documentation.

The air intake system consists of a carbon intake trumpet that increases in size from 76 mm to 152 mm. This larger intake volume significantly improves airflow compared with the standard intake system. Flowbench measurements demonstrated an improvement of +50.5% compared with the standard system.

Road use: The system is supplied with approval documentation and can be combined with other type-approved components, including exhaust systems and downpipes, as specified in the documentation.

Note: The system is not approved for the Edition 50 with 325 PS. For this version, please use the HF-Series Open Intake or the HF-Series Carbon version, which are suitable for the Edition 50 and all existing models with an EA888 Gen.4 engine with TTG documentation and without registration in the vehicle documents.

Suitable for: Audi S3 IV (8Y), Cupra Formentor I (KM7), Cupra Leon IV (KL1), VW Golf VIII (CD1).
