HG Motorsport Turbo Outlet boost pipe to intercooler for VAG 1.8–2.0 TSI EA888 Gen.3

Because of the factory restriction in the charge-air system between the turbocharger and intercooler, HF-Series developed the Turbo Outlet Pipe specifically for customers who already own an HF-Series Turbo Outlet.

The newly designed boost pipe has a larger 60 mm diameter and is optimised for the best possible airflow. The factory boost pipe tapers down to just 36 mm. Once fitted, charge air is delivered to the intercooler without turbulence or restriction.

If you do not yet have a Turbo Outlet, we recommend the VAG 1.8/2.0 TSI Euro 6 Turbo Outlet Pipe Kit.

Thanks to the supplied technical documentation or certificate, the boost pipe does not require an additional registration entry.

The optionally available aluminium boost pipe from the intercooler to the throttle body for 1.8–2.0 TSI Euro 6 engines on the MQB platform replaces the original hard-plastic part. The larger 63 mm pipe diameter (60 mm internal diameter; OEM only 53.7 mm), combined with the flow-optimised design and removal of the reinforcing ribs*, provides increased airflow of 287.9 cfm, measured on a flow bench.

*The OEM pipe uses these ribs to prevent breakage caused by overtightening the clamps.

The factory part consists of a bonded plastic pipe. Over time, exposure to temperature and pressure makes the material brittle and prone to cracking. This can result in broken connections or split boost pipes, which is not only inconvenient but also poses a serious risk to the turbocharger and engine.

Our product is resistant to pressure and temperature and optimised for airflow, enabling earlier engine response. It is also ideally suited to vehicles with increased power. Technical documentation or a certificate is supplied, so no additional registration entry is required.

The boost pipe is compatible with the original intercooler hoses and HF-Series SF-Hoses silicone hoses.

Suitable for: Audi A3 III (8V), VW Golf VII (5G1).
