The centrepiece of the kit is an 8.1 kg single-mass flywheel, precisely manufactured from high-strength forged 4140 steel with an integrated ring gear. The robust one-piece construction provides high structural strength and thermal stability while reducing rotational mass compared with the original dual-mass assembly. The result is a faster throttle response, a more direct engine response and more precise shifting, improving the driving characteristics of the Alfa Romeo Busso V6 engine.
The kit includes a precisely matched pressure plate and an organic clutch disc with a Full Face Organic friction lining, designed for even clamping force, smooth engagement and reliable torque transfer. The organic friction lining handles heat well and enables progressive engagement, making operation refined during both normal and more dynamic driving.
