Know that front wheel hop on a hard launch? The factory lower torque mount (“dogbone”) on the i30 N is made of soft rubber with air pockets and lets the whole engine rock under full torque. Powerflex replaces it with a mount made of CNC-machined aluminium and polyurethane bushes: the engine stays put, the wheels keep their grip, and shocks no longer hammer the driveshafts and gearbox.
