Racingline adjustable rear anti-roll bar end links for VAG MQB/MQB Evo

Racingline adjustable rear anti-roll bar end links are a purpose-built upgrade for vehicles on the MQB or MQB Evo platform, particularly vehicles with lowered or sports suspension. Their purpose is to establish the correct geometry between the rear anti-roll bar and suspension, allowing the anti-roll bar to work as intended. The result is sharper and more predictable rear-end behaviour.

The problem with standard anti-roll bar end links

Standard anti-roll bar end links have a fixed length and soft rubber bushes, with their geometry designed for the vehicle’s factory ride height. When you lower the vehicle, the fixed end links pull the ends of the anti-roll bar upwards and force it into a sharper angle. The anti-roll bar is therefore preloaded before the suspension has even moved, so its response is poorer and it no longer operates within its optimum range. The soft rubber joints also introduce some flex, reducing direct steering feel.

The Racingline solution

Originally developed for Racingline race cars, the adjustable end links allow the length to be set according to the exact vehicle ride height. With an adjustment range of +/- 5 mm, you can remove anti-roll bar preload and return it to the correct neutral starting position. Adjustment is possible while the end links are still fitted to the vehicle, making corner-weighting and precise setup considerably easier.

The soft rubber joints are replaced by steel spherical joints with a Teflon lining, manufactured to motorsport specifications. They transfer suspension movement directly to the anti-roll bar, without flex or lost travel, providing a noticeably sharper rear-end response when cornering.

Who are they for?

They are suitable for vehicles lowered with coilovers or lowering springs, as well as vehicles with an upgraded rear anti-roll bar. They allow the anti-roll bar to work correctly and eliminate the unresponsive, vague feel that can occur when standard end links are used outside their intended ride-height range. Even at standard vehicle ride height, motorsport-specification spherical joints improve rear-end response compared with rubber bushes.

The kit is designed for Volkswagen Group MQB and MQB Evo platforms and covers Golf, Polo, Audi A3/S3/RS3, CUPRA and SEAT models.
