Add a touch of precision engineering to your engine bay with the Racingline oil filler cap. It is designed specifically for 2.0 TSI EA888.3 and EA888 Gen.4 engines and, as a simple yet worthwhile upgrade, replaces the standard plastic cap with a more robust and precisely sealing version.
A reliable “click” when closing
One of the most noticeable differences compared with the original plastic cap is the feel when closing it. The Racingline cap locks securely with a clear, audible click that immediately confirms it is correctly fitted. After topping up the oil, there is no more guessing whether the cap is tightened sufficiently.
Precision manufacturing for a perfect seal
Each cap is made using 5-axis CNC technology from a solid piece of 6061 aircraft-grade aluminium. This ensures tight tolerances and precise fitment that withstands the thermal loads of a turbocharged engine.
The cap is then polished and protected with a gloss anodised finish in Midnight Black. Anodising protects the aluminium against corrosion and preserves its appearance even with regular handling and exposure to temperatures in the engine bay.
Eliminates common oil seepage from the plastic cap
This is not merely an aesthetic upgrade. Over time, minor oil seepage can occur from standard plastic oil filler caps on TSI engines as the plastic ages and the seal hardens. The Racingline billet cap addresses this issue with a robust, precisely fitting construction that provides an even and airtight seal.
