The Racingline Performance intercooler VWR141002 is a direct-fit upgrade for 2.0 TSI EA113 and EA888.1 engines produced between 2005 and 2014. It keeps intake air temperatures lower more effectively and provides more stable power, especially in modified vehicles or during more demanding driving.

Why upgrade the intercooler?

The intercooler cools the compressed air travelling from the turbocharger towards the engine. Cooler air is denser, so it contains more oxygen for combustion and allows power to be developed more reliably. Under prolonged load, the standard intercooler on these engines often reaches heat saturation, causing intake air temperature (IAT) to rise, while the engine control unit reduces power to protect the engine. This is particularly noticeable in vehicles with modified software or when driving on a racetrack.

Racingline solves this problem with a substantially larger, higher-volume core that maintains lower temperatures for longer and cools down more quickly during repeated acceleration.

What can you expect?
