The kit contains five replacement O-rings designed exclusively for the Racingline Tru-Lock magnetic sump plug fitted to vehicles with a plastic oil sump. Replacing the O-ring at every oil change is a simple way to ensure a clean, leak-free seal between the plug and the oil sump.
The rubber seal on each sump plug becomes compressed and hard over time due to repeated temperature cycles. Fitting a new O-ring at every service keeps the seal flexible, helping to prevent slow oil leaks and thread damage in the plastic oil sump caused by overtightening the plug.

Compatibility
The O-rings are compatible only with the Racingline Tru-Lock magnetic sump plug for plastic oil sumps. They are not universal sealing washers and must not be used with original oil sump plugs or other replacement plugs.
The Racingline magnetic sump plug itself is designed for the popular EA888.3 engines in VW, Audi, SEAT and Škoda vehicles.
Servicing recommendation
Fit a new O-ring every time you remove the sump plug. It is a small component that plays an important role in keeping the engine oil where it should be.
