Racingline Power Delivery Module (PDM) provides direct access to Racingline software for performance optimisation. It allows you to program a supported engine control unit (ECU) and transmission control unit (TCU) at home, in your garage or at another location with the appropriate equipment.
Important: the kit includes only the PDM hardware. Software and calibrations are not included and must be purchased separately as digital downloads.
How the PDM works
- Install the appropriate software on a laptop running Windows 10 or 11.
- Prepare and stabilise the vehicle according to the included instructions.
- Select the appropriate calibration and upload it to the ECU or TCU.
- The calibration can later be removed, upgraded or replaced.
Benefits
- Return to the standard software before servicing or selling the vehicle.
- Upgrade between different software stages as the vehicle is further modified.
- Switch between calibrations for different fuel octane ratings, such as 98 and 100 RON.
- Programming without visiting a workshop or transporting the vehicle to a tuner.
Required equipment
- A laptop running Windows 10 or 11, with a USB port and reliable power supply.
- A secure wired internet connection or very stable high-speed Wi-Fi.
- A battery support charger with a rated current of at least 20 A; CTEK is recommended.
- Mains power at the vehicle’s location.
A stable internet connection and battery support power are essential during programming. Interrupting the process can damage the ECU, so the Racingline instructions must be followed precisely.
Supported engines
The PDM is currently not compatible with all types of ECU. It supports the following engine families from the VW Group:
- 2.0 TSI EA888 Gen.4: newer Golf R, Cupra, Audi S3 and related models.
- 2.0 TSI EA888 Gen.3: Golf R and GTI on the MQB platform, Audi S3, Cupra and related models.
- 2.5 TFSI EA855 EVO: Audi RS3 and TT RS.
