Racingline rear brake hose set – MQB models (VWR69G7RR)
The Racingline Performance rear brake hose set provides a firmer and more confident feel at the brake pedal. It is designed as a direct replacement for the original rubber hoses on vehicles with the MQB platform, while the stainless steel braided hoses improve the feel and responsiveness of the rear brakes.
Original rubber brake hoses naturally expand under the heat and pressure generated during heavy braking. This is one of the main causes of a soft or “spongy” brake pedal feel. Replacing them with Racingline braided hoses transfers more of the pressure applied to the pedal directly to the brake calipers, providing sharper response and more consistent operation during successive laps on track or dynamic road driving.
Built for long-lasting performance
Each hose uses an inner PTFE tube surrounded by a braided stainless steel sleeve. PTFE is a durable, temperature-resistant material that does not expand under pressure, while the stainless steel braid protects against wear, stone impacts and corrosion. The result is a brake hose that not only performs better than the original rubber hose but also provides a longer service life. The hoses are fully compatible with DOT4 brake fluid and other high-performance brake fluids.
Kit includes
- 2 × braided stainless steel rear brake hoses
- 4 × new washers for the banjo connections for a clean, tight, leak-free joint
Important compatibility notes
These rear brake hoses are suitable only for vehicles with an electronic parking brake. If the vehicle has a conventional cable-operated handbrake, the kit is not suitable.
The existing banjo bolts must be reused during installation, as new bolts are not included in the kit.
Brake components should be installed by a qualified professional. After installation, the brake system must be bled properly to remove all air from the hoses.

The brake hose set is intended for Volkswagen Group vehicles on the MQB platform, including Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT, Cupra and Škoda models with an electronic parking brake.
