Genuine short replacement hose for the Racingline oil vapour management kit, designed for vehicles on the MQB platform with the EA888.3 2.0 TSI engine. If the original hose in the kit has become worn due to age or damage, it can be replaced with this equivalent replacement part.
Hose function
The Racingline oil vapour management kit, also often called an oil vapour catch can or oil separator, helps prevent oil vapours from being returned to the intake system, which is common in EA888.3 engines with direct injection. The hoses in the kit route gases from the engine between the engine, catch can and intake system.
Due to heat cycles and conditions in the engine bay, hoses can harden or wear out over time. Replacing the hose with a new one helps maintain a proper seal and correct system operation.
