Racingline R600 silicone coolant hose – EA888 Gen.4
The Racingline R600 silicone hose is a purpose-built upgrade for EA888 Gen.4 engines equipped with the Racingline R600 cold air intake system. It reroutes the coolant hose beneath the intake system, tidies up the appearance of the engine bay and provides the durability required by modern cooling systems in VW Group vehicles.
Why you need this hose
On many MQB “EVO” vehicles, the factory coolant hose runs directly across the top of the engine. This partially obscures the R600 intake system and creates a less tidy appearance in the engine bay. This direct replacement reroutes the coolant line beneath the intake system for a cleaner and more organised appearance.
Built for demanding use
The hose is more than just a visual upgrade. It is made from 4-ply reinforced silicone designed to withstand the pressures and temperatures of the engine cooling system without excessive expansion or failure over time. The inner fluoropolymer layer provides full compatibility with the aggressive G12 and G13 coolants used in modern VW Group vehicles.
The kit also includes a new factory one-way valve, which is important for the correct operation of the cooling system. The hose fits and functions in the same way as the original part.

Important compatibility information
The hose is suitable only for EA888 Gen.4 engines with a Garrett turbocharger. It is not suitable for vehicles with a Continental turbocharger, including models producing 300–333 hp.
It is used together with the Racingline R600 cold air intake system on MQB “EVO” platform vehicles with an EA888.4 engine.
A small but thoughtfully designed add-on that complements the installation of the R600 intake system while maintaining the correct operation of the cooling system.
