The Racingline strut brace is designed specifically for the Audi A4 and S4 (B9 chassis). It is a direct replacement for the thin, pressed aluminium factory brace, using a solid aluminium component that connects the upper front damper mounts more effectively.

The B9 platform has a stiff body structure by design, but the standard brace offers little resistance to lateral movement of the front damper towers. When cornering quickly, the towers can flex slightly, resulting in a less precise steering feel and a less direct response from the front end of the vehicle. The Racingline strut brace adds stiffness exactly where it matters.

Effect on the vehicle

By strengthening the front end and maintaining the correct position of the damper towers under load, the brace helps preserve the correct suspension geometry during fast cornering. The result is a more direct steering response, improved feel from the front axle and a more connected feel behind the wheel. You will notice the difference most on winding roads or the racetrack.

The additional stiffness does not negatively affect comfort. The brace is designed to improve handling without adding noise, vibration or harshness (NVH) in the cabin, so everyday driving remains just as refined.
