Racingline Track coilovers – 2-way adjustable coilovers with top mounts (VWR340000-G7)

Racingline Track is the brand’s most capable TÜV-approved-for-road-use adjustable coilover kit, developed for drivers who spend a lot of time on the track but still want to use their car on the road. The kit is based on Racingline’s racing kits, with the main differences being the internal valve settings and spring rates. The result is firm and precise handling with excellent body control, without compromising everyday usability.

If a conventional sports spring kit is no longer enough and you want motorsport-level control, precision and adjustability, this suspension is designed for exactly that use.

Kit features

• Motorsport monotube dampers with a deflection-disc valve system provide precise wheel control and a consistent response even during intensive track use.
• Inverted front dampers with 45 mm piston rods. This design, with its larger piston rod, increases the stiffness of the front strut, reduces flexing through fast corners and improves steering response.
• True rear coilovers with full spring travel on the rear axle, instead of the short helper springs used by many road kits. This provides more predictable behaviour over kerbs, bumps and during load transfer.
• Lightweight aluminium housings, the same as those used on Racingline racing kits, reduce unsprung weight.
• 12-stage compression and rebound adjustment on each damper. The adjustment knobs can be turned by hand, without tools and without raising the vehicle.
• CNC-machined adjustable top mounts with pillow ball bearings allow precise wheel camber adjustment.
• Adjustable anti-roll bar end links are included, allowing the anti-roll bar preload to be set correctly after lowering.
• 60 mm linear racing springs with helper springs on the front axle use the standard motorsport size, making it possible to select a different spring rate if required.

Driving behaviour

On the road, the ride is firm but controlled. The advanced damping setup helps absorb sharp impacts without harsh bottoming out. On the track, the benefits include precise cornering, quick turn-in, good front-axle grip and a rear axle that follows the front accurately.

As compression and rebound can be adjusted independently, the suspension can be adapted to different tracks, tyres and driving styles. This is track-focused suspension, so it is firmer than road-focused kits. The adjustable top mounts and pillow ball bearings will transmit slightly more noise into the cabin than rubber mounts.
