Rieger rear diffuser for SEAT Ateca I (5FP) – electric swivel hitch

Rieger rear diffuser, also known as a rear skirt insert, for the SEAT Ateca Cupra (5FP), before facelift 09.18–07.20 and facelift model from 08.20 onwards. Designed for vehicles with original twin tail pipes left and right (4x90x72 mm, oval) or sport tail pipes left and right (4×102 mm). Made from ABS plastic suitable for painting and supplied with mounting equipment.

Note: Fits only vehicles with an electric swivel trailer hitch. Not suitable for vehicles with a detachable trailer hitch. The distance between the trailer coupling and the Rieger rear diffuser is approximately 20 mm smaller than with the original rear diffuser. With large or heavy trailers featuring an extremely large and wide anti-roll coupling, check before ordering that the remaining clearance between the coupling and the Rieger rear diffuser is sufficient during manoeuvres with extreme steering angles, including manoeuvring. Also suitable for vehicles with a sensor-controlled tailgate. When fitting the diffuser, follow the vehicle handbook instructions concerning the Easy Open function. This function must be deactivated in the vehicle system before disconnecting the sensor antennas and reactivated after installation.
