Ultra Racing 23 mm rear anti-roll bar for Subaru Impreza II GD/GG

The car’s chassis is the part of the vehicle subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. This is mainly caused by the transfer of the body’s mass during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.

When cornering, the transfer of mass can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to a force up to 3 times greater than the other. This results in greater chassis twisting, body deformation and the consequent loss of tyre grip.

Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The rear anti-roll bar helps limit body roll and improve control over the vehicle’s behaviour through corners.
