The vehicle chassis is one of the most heavily loaded parts of the car, particularly due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to 3 times more than the other. This can cause significant bending and twisting of the chassis or body, resulting in the tyres losing grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
This Ultra Racing 3-point fender brace is designed to provide additional body rigidity. It attaches at 3 mounting points.
