Ultra Racing 4-point rear lower chassis brace for Ssangyong Kyron I (DJ)

A vehicle’s chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads while driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of the body’s weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or hard acceleration.

When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This can result in greater chassis flex and body deformation, causing the tyres to lose grip.

Chassis flex and deformation during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
