Ultra Racing adjustable C-pillar brace for Honda Civic EF 1987–1991

The vehicle body is the part subjected to the greatest stress during dynamic driving. This is particularly pronounced due to the transfer of the vehicle’s weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or intensive acceleration.

When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. The result is significant bending and twisting of the body, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.

Deformation and twisting of the chassis when driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The C-pillar brace helps increase the rigidity of the rear section of the body.
