The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest stress during dynamic driving. This is mainly caused by the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This can result in significant chassis or body twisting and deformation, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing brace helps limit these effects by providing additional chassis support.
