The kit includes 2 floor chassis reinforcements, each with 3 mounting points, for a total of 6 mounting points. The reinforcements help reduce body twisting and flexing during dynamic driving.
During fast cornering, heavy braking and hard acceleration, the vehicle chassis is subjected to significant loads caused by the transfer of the body’s mass.
When cornering, the transfer of mass can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This can cause considerable chassis flex, or body deformation and twisting, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
