Ultra Racing fender brace for Ford Tierra KJ/Mazda Protege BJ

The vehicle body is the part subjected to the greatest loads during driving. This is especially true due to the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.

When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. The result is significant deformation, body flex and loss of tyre grip.

Deformation and chassis flex in corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.

The Ultra Racing fender brace helps further connect and reinforce the fender area, thereby reducing unwanted body movement.
