The vehicle body is the part subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. This is mainly due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to 3 times more than the other. This can cause significant chassis flex, deformation and torsional body twist, resulting in the tyres losing grip.
Chassis deformation and flexing during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing fender brace is designed to provide additional body reinforcement around the fenders.
