The vehicle body is the part that is subjected to the greatest loads during driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, the transfer of mass can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to forces up to three times greater than the other. This results in significant bending and twisting of the chassis or body, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Deformation and twisting of the chassis when cornering can cause undesirable driving characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing front anti-roll bar with a diameter of 27 mm is designed to reduce these effects and improve vehicle stability during dynamic driving.
The product is intended for BMW 5 F10 vehicles with a 2.5 2WD or 2.0T 2WD engine. For the 2.5 2WD version, the condition of no active steering is also specified.
