The vehicle’s suspension is subjected to significant loads during dynamic driving. Weight transfer through the body during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration contributes particularly to this.
When driving through a corner, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more heavily than the other. This can lead to significant suspension twisting or body deformation, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Suspension deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing front anti-roll bar helps limit these loads.
