The Ultra Racing front anti-roll bar for Ford Kuga II (C520) has a diameter of 25 mm. It is designed to reduce unwanted body roll and improve the vehicle’s behaviour during dynamic driving.
The vehicle’s chassis is often one of the most heavily loaded parts during driving. This is mainly caused by the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, hard braking or intense acceleration.
In some cases, weight transfer when cornering can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This causes significant chassis flex or body deformation, which can result in the tyres losing grip.
Chassis deformation and flexing while cornering can cause unwanted handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. This is where Ultra Racing comes in.
