The vehicle chassis is one of the components subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. The result is high loads, chassis twisting and body deformation, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing front anti-roll bar helps limit body roll and improve the vehicle’s behaviour through corners.
