The vehicle body is subjected to high loads during fast driving, heavy braking and acceleration, mainly due to the transfer of the vehicle’s mass.

When driving through a corner, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This results in body twisting, loss of chassis stiffness and, consequently, reduced tyre grip.

Chassis twisting and deformation when driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The front anti-roll bar helps limit body roll and improve vehicle responsiveness and stability.
