The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads while driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or hard acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to forces up to three times greater than the other. This can result in severe twisting and bending of the chassis or body, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Twisting and deformation of the chassis while cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing brace helps increase the stiffness of the front lower section of the chassis and limit its twisting.
