The vehicle chassis is exposed to the greatest loads due to the driver’s driving style. This is particularly pronounced when the vehicle’s weight is transferred during fast cornering, heavy braking or hard acceleration.
In some cases, weight transfer while cornering can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This can result in significant deformation and chassis twisting, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting while cornering can cause undesirable driving characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing front lower chassis brace helps further connect the mounting points and limit such movement.
