When cornering, the transfer of mass can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This causes significant deformation and twisting of the chassis, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Deformation and twisting of the chassis during cornering can cause unwanted handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The front lower brace helps increase the rigidity of this part of the chassis.
