Ultra Racing front lower chassis brace for Mercedes-Benz S-Class W220

The Ultra Racing front lower chassis brace for Mercedes-Benz S-Class W220 is designed to reduce body flexing and twisting under higher loads. It is mounted at 2 mounting points.

The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving, particularly due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or sudden acceleration.

When driving through a corner, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This results in considerable chassis twisting, body deformation and loss of tyre grip.

Chassis deformation and twisting while driving through a corner can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
