During fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration, the vehicle’s chassis is subjected to high loads caused by the transfer of the body’s weight.
When cornering, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to three times greater than on the other. This causes the chassis to twist or the bodywork to deform, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis twisting while driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. This front lower brace is designed to provide additional chassis rigidity.
The product is intended only for the Nissan Elgrand E51 with a 3.5 V6 engine and 4WD.
