During fast driving, the vehicle’s chassis is subjected to significant loads, particularly due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to 3 times more than the other. This can result in excessive chassis twisting or body deformation, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The front lower chassis brace helps reduce these effects and improve the vehicle’s stiffness and handling in corners.
