The vehicle chassis is exposed to the greatest loads while driving, particularly due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This results in greater bending and twisting of the chassis or bodywork, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis bending and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing brace helps to reduce unwanted chassis bending. It is a front lower 4-point H-brace designed for Toyota Corolla E80 vehicles with a 1.6 4A-GE engine and 2WD.
