The car’s chassis is the part that is subjected to the greatest loads while driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or hard acceleration.
In certain situations, weight transfer when cornering can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This causes significant chassis bending and twisting, or body deformation, resulting in a loss of tyre grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
This brace is designed to reduce unwanted chassis bending and improve vehicle stability.
