The vehicle body is subjected to significant loads when driving at speed, mainly due to weight transfer during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
When driving through a corner, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to three times greater than on the other. This causes the body to flex and deform, which can result in the tyres losing grip.
Body flex when driving through corners can cause unwanted handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing interior body brace helps reduce these deformations and improve body stiffness.
