Ultra Racing interior chassis brace for BMW 3 E36

The vehicle chassis is subjected to high loads during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration, mainly due to the transfer of body weight.

When cornering, the transfer of weight to one side of the vehicle can result in up to three times more force being placed on that side than on the other. This causes significant deformation and twisting of the body, resulting in the tyres losing grip.

Deformation and twisting of the chassis during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer. The interior chassis brace is designed to increase vehicle stiffness in this area.
