The Ultra Racing interior chassis brace helps reduce chassis twisting and bending during dynamic driving. During fast cornering, hard braking and acceleration, the chassis is subjected to loads caused by vehicle weight transfer.
When driving through corners, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to three times greater than on the other. This causes greater chassis twisting or body deformation, which can result in the tyres losing grip.
Chassis twisting and deformation can negatively affect vehicle handling and cause understeer and oversteer. The brace helps increase body stiffness and improve vehicle responsiveness.
