The vehicle chassis is subjected to heavy loads during fast cornering, hard braking and acceleration due to the transfer of body mass.
When driving through a corner, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to three times greater than the load on the other side. This causes the chassis to bend and twist, which can lead to the tyres losing grip.
Chassis twisting and deformation can negatively affect vehicle handling and cause understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing mid lower brace helps increase chassis stiffness in the mounting area.
