The Ultra Racing mid lower chassis brace is designed for the Mercedes-Benz C-Class (W203) and has 2 mounting points.
The car’s chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. This is mainly caused by the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking or hard acceleration.
In some cases, the transfer of mass in a corner can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to a force up to 3 times greater than the other. This causes significant chassis flex or deformation and torsional twisting of the body, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and flex in corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing brace helps reduce these loads and improve chassis rigidity.
