The Ultra Racing mid lower chassis brace is designed for the Toyota MR-S (W30), manufactured between 1999 and 2007. It attaches to 2 mounting points.
The car’s chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during driving. This is particularly noticeable when the body weight shifts during fast cornering, heavy braking or hard acceleration.
In some cases, weight transfer during cornering can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to forces up to 3 times greater than the other side. This can result in significant deformation and twisting of the chassis or bodywork, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Deformation and twisting of the chassis during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
